February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month - Talk to your kids about respect

In honor of National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, our Health Council participates in both local and global campaigns. Self-defense classes are offered to local Girl Scout troops, presentations are given at local schools within SADD Clubs of Monroe County, and our social media presence is periodically made relevant to the cause. It is our desire to educate our local youth about healthy relationships, as well as to serve those who have been affected by unhealthy relationships and/or domestic violence. If you would like more information about our local victim-service agency, Monroe STOPe, or if you need help and are in an abusive situation, call 423-519-1232.
